robin cottage wurde im Januar 2004 in Berlin gegründet und arbeitet für die größte inländische Wochenzeitung DIE ZEIT, die WELT AM SONNTAG, das europäische Kulturmagazin PLOTKI, die unabhängige Berliner Stadtzeitung SCHEINSCHLAG, für die Zeitschriften BRIGITTE und DAS MAGAZIN.

In den Illustrationen treffen Tier- und Naturdarstellungen auf fantastische Motive, Elemente der Märchenwelt verbinden sich mit der Welt der Erwachsenen. Unterschiedliche Techniken, wie Collagen, Aquarell- oder Tuschearbeiten, Bleistift-, Wachs- oder Filzstiftzeichnungen werden miteinander verbunden.

In the works of robin cottage, illustrations of animals and nature meet with fantastic motifs, elements of fairy-tales connect with the adult world. Different techniques are used and combined, like collages, watercolour-, or inkdrawing, pencil-, wax- or feltdrawings.
